Circumflex POST 2011 beta. circumflex or tilde? or =

Hello I have read the entire pdf file Logos biblical keyboard.pdf on pg 4 where it talks about accent marks instructing this function after proper installation using msword 2003 the use of ~ or = should make a circumflex after alt+shift

=should produce a circumflex but this just looks wrong...

I cannot tell if we are to expect a tilde to suffice, I am doing some pre class reading of Blacks LTR NT Greek a book prior to September and attempting to start prepaing homework prior to class I am looking for the quickest way to get it on the page I am ysing Times New Roman plus the app Logos keyboard which comes from the web site, a disability makes multiple keys at one time difficult . the subject matter is challenging enough without the instructors help. andI'm only on chap 5.[:(]

Which font are you using? Some fonts don't place the accents properly.

Times new roman, it kind of matches the fonts used in DAB book and helps with character recognition. which do you recommend?

I use KadmosU. Some like Gentium, but TNR isn't the best though I think it's better than it used to be.

thank you I had Logos tech support had no clue, it didn't appear emphasized in the PDF file or I just cant find it, but I am off typing away my practice lessons [:)]

Hi Matt

The circumflex or tilde over a vowel indicate the same thing; they are just different styles. As mentioned previously on the thread, some fonts use a tilde, some fonts use the traditionally styled circumflex. They both communicate the same thing.
