BUG: Printed search results differ

I am not even sure I can explain this problem very clearly. I am doing some relatively complex lemma searches. For example I was searching for all forms of χάρις in Ephesians. Here is my search string:

lemma:χάρις OR lemma:ἀχάριστος OR lemma:εὐχαριστέω OR lemma:εὐχαριστία OR lemma:εὐχάριστος OR lemma:συγχαίρω OR lemma:χαίρω OR lemma:χαρά OR lemma:χαρίζομαι OR lemma:χάριν OR lemma:χάρισμα OR lemma:χαριτόω

When the search is finished it shows 20 results in 18 verses (see inset) - Note that my window is not showing the entire list - this seems to be important.

If I print out this list from this window as it is it only includes 18 of the occurrences even the top still says 20 results in 18 verses.

Here is the rub - if I scroll this window to the bottom of the list and THEN print - it prints them all. If I float the panel and THEN print it prints them all. If I scroll the window back to the top of the list - it drops occurrences off.

I have been able to duplicate this problem with other searches as well. Can anyone else verify this behavior?

i can repeat this in 4.5cSr3. The printout from a window in the main window prints 18 hits (Eph 4:32 with its two hits are left out of the printout). But when printing from a floating window all 20 hits are printed.

i also noticed that if the search window in the main window is full height (among 2 other panels), that it prints correctly. But when the search window is not the full length of the main window it leaves out Eph 4:32 (also noticed that the print preview in the print window is missing Eph 4:32).

EDIT: it is really odd that the printout always chooses to leave out Eph 4:32 and not some other verse.

I can reproduce this bug; thanks for the good description.

It appears to always happen to Eph 4:32, because the word in that verse is "forgiving" (and "forgiven"). If you scroll the search results one line at a time, you'll see that the center column gets wider when you get down to Eph 4:32; the search results display adjusts itself for the longer word.

For some reason, this isn't happening during print and (worse) that line of text is just getting dropped instead of being clipped.

As a workaround, please select "Print as exported" (not "Print as shown on screen") on the left side of the Print/Export dialog. This will print all results.
