Friends, is there any resource available in Logos for Ancient Hebrew? Or how to view Hebrew resources in Logos with Ancient Hebrew font? Please advise.

Bishop Khokhar:
If you have a Hebrew font that you prefer to use over the supplied Logos fonts, you can select that under the Tools Menu selecting Program Settings. Look for 'Fonts' in the Program Settings panel.
Beware that not all fonts work equally well in Logos, so you may experience some problems, and I am not sure if an ancient Hebrew font will be mapped properly in Logos (I would hope so).

Hello Mr. Mark
Shalom. Thanks for being always willing to help. I appreciate. My question was about "Hebrew Pictographs". I did not see that font in the program setting.
Thanks

Bishop,
I don't know about your specific font, but it seems that it is not a Unicode font and thus not supported by Logos. You may try if one of the Logos-supported fonts are okay with you, otherwise it seems that someone tried to build a font resembling "Hebrew Pictographs" in Unicode - try to install it on your machine and see if it appears automatically in the L4 Settings list (this happened for me with the Greek Brill font) - otherwise you may need to suggest it to Logos.

That would be correct. Logos does not include an 'ancient Hebrew' font. As NB says you need to install your own font and see if Logos can use it.

By "pictographs" are you referencing the proto-Sinaitic inscriptions? Those have not yet been determined authoritatively regarding what all of the symbols represent. The problem is the limited nature of the inscriptions and lack of context.

Yes Sir, I was referring to "Proto-Sinaitic script". I am very happy to be part of this community where everyone is willing to help. Thanks and blessings to all.

It worked for me. In a while look in the Fonts folder on this site for "Proto-si.zip"

Make sure you are clicking on the font name after the word "Download". Clicking on the word "Download" does nothing.

Hi Mr Geoge, Does it work with Logos too? I have downloaded from the site mentioned in this post and I am trying it on MS Word for now before I experiment with Logos.
Please advise. Thanks

Well, it's obvious to me the hebrew interlinear doesn't work well with the proto-sinaitic. Hmm. What 'could' the reason be, what could it be???
Just joking; obviously the font doesn't get pulled by the hebrew scan, but does for the default.

This seems to be another "parity issue", as on my Windows machine I can select Proto Sinaic as a font in Word, but not in Logos (only Ezra SIL, Ezra SIL SR and SBL Hebrew). Or I'm doing something wrong - but then again, I can't read Hebrew at all, anyway.

NB ... this font only works if you used to mine gold in the Negev.
At this point, the font is mainly a learning curiousity, but the above screen-copy is setting the 'english' to Proto-Sinaitic; Logos4 doesn't putl it in as a hebrew font.
