I just composed a post and it was blocked until further notice by email once it is reviewed by a moderator??? Logos has gotten serious about spam.
I think 'less relaxed' might be a better description. :-)
I think it had to do with all the links in your post. Posts with multiple links in them look to the spam filter like spam. Until David Ladiges tweaks it and makes it smarter, we'll need to minimize the use of links. He can probably easily exempt links to Logos websites. But Amazon.com? He'd have to parse each one and figure out if it was a book recommendation.

I'd hope so, but he hasn't done it yet: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/52674/386701.aspx#386701.

In the Suggestions forum, Amazon ought to be exempted as well.
And everyone who's actually bought something from them ought to be exempted everywhere and at all times.
Why not Hanged, Drawn, and Quartered?
LOL.... it works AGAINST Logos, too.... just tried to post a reminder to folks that 4 Classic Commentaries are close to production, including a link to each of the 4 CP LOGOS web pages. My post, too, got caught in the spam filter & requires a moderator to release it.Moral of the story? Don't include links in our posts, I guess. Even Logos web pages could be spam. [:D]
Blessings!

One or two seems OK. Four is obviously too much. Don't know about three.

Rosie,
Are you suggesting multiple posts on one subject! [8-)]
bah. just had a post sent to bit bucket, so to speak - probably cause it has multiple links (all to logos sites). anyone know how long it takes to get them "approved"?
In my experience it wasn't long. Say, 5-10 mins. Certainly nothing to warrant changing my posting practice for.
As I said in another thread, it has taken one of my post several hours to post.

I think someone mentioned something about posting and afterwards going back and adding links. Has anyone actually tried that?
Thank you for your alternative experience Tom. Is it possible that Logos has since altered their filter? Also George, the idea you record is an interesting one. I've yet to use it though.

I do now: you get caught.

Haven't seen any such post, but if I remember I might try that next time.
I have a suggestion. Because my "Scripture Indexes???" post was held for moderation. I assert that a two tiered approach be used. Known customers of Logos need no moderation. All posts from this base be accepted in good faith until proved otherwise. New posters with Logos products or those with no association with Logos be subject to moderated review. [Y]
