Beta 2.0.6: Highlights (mostly) don't show
Issue:
Description – If I have very few highlights in a resource, then after a brief spell (sync?) they pop up and are visible. However, for a long resource that I have heavily highlighted like the ESV (think Inductive Study), the highlights never seem to appear. On the positive side, the application (like Build 49) remains responsive--which I greatly appreciate.

Ward is it just highlighters not showing or markups in general? Some of us get our markups like underlining and yellow glow to show up perfectly. Normal highlighting however will only show in low light mode, it seems on our bug reports that it is tied to AOSP based Roms. So far I have not seen Logos comment on this bug or acknowledge it in known issues.
Have you tried low light mode?

I am having the same problem. In my ESV some notes and highlighting are there, but others never show up. AND in the sections were the notes and highlights are visible, if I click on a note with an embedded link, and then click on that link to open the linked resource, when I go back to the ESV, the highlights and notes in that section are no longer visible, and I can't get them back on.

Notes are loaded separate from the text (so you can quickly see the text, even if the notes take a while). If you have many in a particular resource, it currently can take quite some time for them to appear (in some cases, minutes!).
Needless to say, there are some performance issues we're aware of with loading notes. We will address them in an upcoming release.
Thanks for your patience!

David, thanks for the feedback. I'll look forward to a future release that will enable large notes (highlighters) to load.
