Just a "Heads up!", I received an e-mail from Northwestern Publishing House yesterday that the Pre Publication pricing for the http://www.logos.com/product/8817/wisconsin-lutheran-quarterly-1990-2010 will end on Friday, August 10th. The post Pre Pub price will be $79.99. The current Pre Pub price is $37.95. I have found the journal to be very helpful, especially in the area of pastoral theology. I use the earlier release extensively and would recommend it as well.

Thanks for the heads up Wayne. I really enjoy the scholarship reflected in journals even though my views may be at variance with some of their content. I find many of them challenging and fun. And they help add balance to my gospel message.

I hope you don't mind me piggybacking on your post. I found the website and the complimentary issue in .pdf format offered useful. And it allowed me the opportunity to measure whether or not I'd get some mileage out of this journal, and happily I found that I agree with you. It is useful I too recommend it at the bargain price that it is presently offered at. Check it out for yourselves.
