Rooted Simple Touch 2.0
I rooted a simple touch several months ago and put the logos app on it and I love it! But i noticed that it is giving me an error that it cannot unpack the current apk for version 2.0.
Anyone else running the nook simple touch rooted with logos?
Anyone find a workaround?
I'm thinking that the rooted version is an older version than is accepted but I don't know for sure.
Thanks, I'd love to mark up my books from the nook

NYSERVANT, I'm a rooted nook user. When you say version 2.0 you must mean the android app version rather than the version of simple nook. Some call the nook simple touch with glowlight 2.0 or N2E or a second edition of the N.S.T. Either way, the nook has a firmware edition 1.1.2 maybe and so far is still limited to android version 2.1.
Accompanying the latest builds of logos' apps you will find the release notes (the links are in this forum) that say logos only supports android operating systems 2.2 and up. That means, to our dismay, we will get no highlighting on the nook. The last logos app that works (build 43: version 1.1.3) does not support hightlighting.

Jumping in: Thanks a lot Steve!
Too bad for the content of your post, but I'm glad I read it instead of my usual "mark as read" for the whole Android forum.
I'm currently without any Logos-capable mobile device and was looking for an e-Ink device as mobile reader but capable of running Logos. Unfortunately this rules out the Amazon Kindle and the Kobo device - and it seemed to me the Nook Touch would be the right thing to have, and they are starting to become available here in Germany, too. Now I'll have to look again (Sony perhaps) - or wait...
Have joy in the Lord!
