I read the Logos blog today. I thought it was interesting, since I actually DO like to receive informational and even promotional emails, especially in the areas I enjoy.
But yesterday I finally pulled the plug. Not on Logos. On ChristianDiscount, Rejoice Software, and Dove Booksellers. Plus two more Bible software companies, while I was at it.
The reason was they absolute have no concept of 'customers'. Every day, another email??
It's like they're competing with each other, totally oblivious to what their customers might think. "Oh my, ChristianDiscount emails daily. We should too!!"
What they can't see (I guess) is that their emails arrive with the label 'JUNK:'.
So I'm settled down to 'Logos'. At least they (periodically) listen.
