Deactivating and uninstalling Logos

Hi Guys,

Just looking for some advice. Im thinking about selling my copy of Logos Silver Edition for Mac and I was just wondering how to deactivate my registration with Logos so that the person who gets it can reactivate it under his/her own name. Does uninstalling it do this, or do i have to do other stuff.

Call Logos sales. That is the only way that I know of to do it.

From the End User License Agreement:

TRANSFERS

At Logos' sole discretion you may transfer all your rights to use the Software, Content, and Documentation to another person or legal entity provided you transfer this Agreement, the Software, Content, and Documentation, including all copies, updates and prior versions to such person or entity and that you retain no copies, including copies stored on computer. There will be a processing fee charged on all transfers which is subject to change without notice. As of 6/17/09 the fee is equal to $20.00 per transfer.

You do realize that in doing this you will also be selling your access to the Windows version, don't you? With L4 one license covers both platforms.

If you want to deactivate and transfer, you'll call sales. There is usually a fee charged in order to transfer a license to a new user's id. This will make it so that you no longer have access to or ownership of any of your resources and whoever you sold/gave it to does.

Uninstalling it will not be sufficient as this will be an entire transfer of ownership.

If you don't mind my asking, why are you leaving Logos?
