Cursor Freezes

I am running Windows7, 64 bit. When I try to use LOGOS, I may begin well, but soon the cursor will freeze for long periods of time then activate for only a few seconds. During that few seconds logos will perform keystrokes that I made while the cursor was frozen. Any idea what is wrong?

It seems, the computer is simply occupied with something else and too busy to react immediately to the keystrokes. It may help looking into the system tray, what's going on. When I experience this, most often either Logos is indexing or my antivirus started scanning the harddisk.

Also curious about processor ? Using a Dell Latitude ST with 1.5 GHz Atom CPU has provided ample opportunity for Logos 4 tap and wait for many seconds.

Likewise wonder about other program(s) being CPU intensive ?
