Don't automatically add Bible reference signals when a Bible verse is mentioned

Currently as far as I can work out, whenever a Bible verse is mentioned on an item, proclaim automatically adds a Bible reference signal.

We don't use signals, which is why I don't want them on my items. Here's my scenario:

1) I add a 'Content' type item containing:

"

Bible Reading   

 

1 John 3:11-18

--

Bible Teaching

 

"

2) As soon as I do this, a Bible reference signal is added. However I don't want this signal.

3) I can't delete this automatically added signal (like I can if I add my own signal).

Expected behaviour ideally is for Bible reference signals to not be automatically added on Content type slides. Less ideal expected behaviour would be to let me delete the automatically added signals. Another option would be to allow me to turn off signals for the whole presentation.

I hope you can sort this out soon as it is a bit distracting to have signals appearing on our items when we don't want them. I've even somehow got a Bible reference signal on an imported powerpoint item that I can't delete.

I agree.  Our church began using Proclaim a few weeks ago and currently, we are choosing not to use the signals but cannot get rid of any of the signals that associate to Bible Verses.  You cannot delete them the way you delete other signals (right-click then hit the red X in the corner).  I would like to be able to disable this feature or delete signals individually
