Select the resource.
type h:yh --> no lemma
OK, change morph from Greek to Hebrew --> can now select lemma yahweh form.
Hit space --> and it appears between lemma: and the Hebrew word.
Another cut and paste later I finally get (lemma:יהוה) --> hadn't wanted the () but it is better with Hebrew terms.
I want lemma:κύριο but go through a similar battle (change to Greek Morph).
Finally I have:
(lemma:יהוה) NOTEQUALS lemma:κύριος
But the results are clearly wrong --> Greek morph selected = 0, Hebrew morph = 6471
OK Morph Search can't search properly with different languages in the one resource.
Now I have to convert that to a Bible Search --> (<lemma = af/he/יהוה> NOTEQUALS ([field lemma] κύριος))!
The one morph rule strikes again!
Back to cutting & pasting, change morph in Morph Search, going back to Bible Search, and I finally get:-
<lemma = af/he/יהוה> NOTEQUALS <lemma = lbs/el/κύριος> and 263 results!
In L3, after a little battle with the Hebrew word, just type
lemma:יהוה NOTEQUALS lemma:κύριος
and get the results!
There have been a couple of suggestions:-
- go back to the L3 search formula
- make the <lemma = lbs/el/κύριος> syntax more amenable in Bible Search, without having to remember the lbs, af, el & he acronyms.
My suggestions: for a resource like this is:
- allow Morph Search to work with different language lemmas when it knows the languages involved; AND
- allow Morph Search to convert BOTH terms when switching to Bible Search!
