Two questions on logging and indexer

I am trying to do some benchmarks on the time it takes to do a full reindex. I turned on logging. Here are my two questions:

1. How do you turn on the Indexer log? I turned on logging with the javascript, and I got the regular log file but the Indexer log file was not updated yet I did a rebuild of the whole index.

2. I assume there is a message in the indexer log with time stamp as to when indexing starts and stops? Or is there another way to see the times this starts/stops?

1. By setting a registry value (using the script or manual steps documented here: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging) you can permanently turn on logging for all Logos 4 components.

2. When indexing completes, you should be able to find text in your Logos4Indexer.log file that says "Library indexing completed in ...". (There will be multiple occurrences of this text, one per index.)
