Future Android Notes Functionality

I'm just curious - do future plans for the Android app include the ability to open a notes file and to edit the notes file to edit and view notes as a file (including editing notes not attached to any references) or will notes really be limited to attaching/editing notes linked directly to a reference?  Also, would there be a way where one could open a note as a resource in a linked panel to view scripture on one split and the note in a linked fashion on the other split.  The edit functions would be great for editing documents and opening a linked note would be great for teaching times where it is helpful to see all your notes at once as you read Scripture.

    Hi John

We have heard from Logos that support for "unattached notes" is coming - but I haven't seen any details. This statement was in the context of the iOS application but - with the plans for feature parity across the mobile platforms - I would expect this would come to Android as well.

Also, would there be a way where one could open a note as a resource in a linked panel to view scripture on one split and the note in a linked fashion on the other split.

This is something which has been asked for by a number of people and which would be a really useful feature. I don't recall seeing any comment from Logos regarding this.

editing notes not attached to any references

You realize that we have this capability on the desktop I presume. My Kindle and I are having a navigational dispute at the moment or I would test the Android app again.

Editing notes straight from the notefile is now possible on the iOS version and based on the 2.0.8 layout it looks like they are shooting for basic parity...so it looks like this will be coming in the future.
