Note files on Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus tablet "not available?"

 When I take  notes with Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus tablet,I get a highlighted file folder indicating there is a note file and even get synced to my laptop and can view this file on my laptop. Yet on my tablet when I highlight or try to access that same note I get a pop up stating " unavailable?" Any one else having this issue?
