Using Logos 4 - Uninstalling Libronix

When I installed the Faithlife Study Bible, I installed Logos 4.  It recognized all the resources I have on my PC for use with Libronix 3.  Now that I have Logos 4, is there any need for me to keep Libronix 3 on my PC?  If I uninstall Libronix 3, will I lose any of my resources?  Thanks!

I have a few resources that were created for Logos 2.1 (or maybe even earlier) that don't run under Logos 4 plus the Video Book resources that were created in the Libronix 3 era have not yet ported over to Logos 4 so I keep L3 installed for these resources when I want to use them.  Also in Logos 4 for Thomas Nelson Author Based Libraries the home pages don't move over to Logos 4 so you would loose the links to the sermons and other extra multimedia files that came with those collections - you can though still access the files from the directories using windows explorer, just not directly from Logos 4.

These are the exceptions that I am aware about, for the vast majority of resources though you should not have any issues, even if an Logos 4 format resource is not available, it will use the L3 format resource.

If you have Personal Books in L3 they will need to be rebuilt in the new Logos 4 format so you will loose these if you don't have access to the source file to re-build the files.  Also note if you were using Sermon Addin in L3 there is not an equivalent tool.  Logos is trying to push people to use the Personal Book Builder in Logos 4 as an alternative but this is not well accepted by die-hard L3 Sermon Addin users.

If you have other user created files like timelines or parallel passages you will also loose these sort of documents.  You will also need to import any notes, highlights etc that you have created in L3 if you want continued access to these files.
