Add Logos3 new resource license to Logos4?

Hi,

I'm a die-hard Linux and BSD user that first bought Logos years and years ago when it came on floppy disks. I ~really~ do not care for the Windows operating system at all, but I do happen to have licenses for 2000, XP Pro, and Vista Business and Ultimate here. I just installed Vista Business on VirtualBox under Ubuntu Linux and I ran into a bit of a snag so I went ahead and set up an XP sp3 drive on one of my desktop machines.

I had recently purchased the Masorah of Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia resource by Logos but have never installed/registered it. This was for version 3 of Logos. I have decided to try the new version 4 with my version 3 licenses and I'm wondering (when this version 4 is done downloading and churning an index) if I'll be able to register this new resorce with version 4 and add it to my license backup?

You'll need to either:

1) Contact customer support and have them activate it for you at which point Logos 4 will automatically download it.

2)
Install Libronix LDLS, activate the resource in that and then
synchronise your licences; at which point L4 will automatically
download it.

I imagine that there will be a more elegant solution than this at some point... Or perhaps not, since now whenever you buy anything your licences are updated automatically...

Hi Jon,

Thank you much for the response. I kind of figured that there might be a glitch in getting this resource registered and I do appreciate your help very much.

If Logos 4 looks to be a keeper, I'll give Logos a ring and get it squared away. If I have problems with 4, I'll go back to 3 and register it that way.

It's nice to have folks here that know about these "gotcha" scenarios.
