iPad Copying Text

Greetings,

I am attempting to copy a bible verse from Logos into a discussion that I am having on eMail. After highlighting, the text copies relatively easy from the contextual menu. However, it copies everything including subscripts and verse numbers.

Is there a way to use a "share" type of copy like Logos 4 for mac? It would be great if we could select a text, then copy the entire text and then it could be formatted with quotes around the verse/verses with the reference in parenthesis. I know it is possible because when I share a single verse on Facebook or Twitter or eMail it does this. The problem with this is that it is only one verse at a time.

So, in summary: it would be great to be able to copy verses only without any subscripts or verse numbers.

This brings up another point. Is there a way in either Logos 4 for mac or in the IOS to turn off verse numbers? I know there is a way to display the bible text only, but the verse numbers stay attached. I think Bible Text Only should be Bible Text Only without verses.

Thank you so much. Any help would be appreciated. :)

    Hi Stave,

It sounds like you are looking for a "Bible Text Only" feature, similar to what we have in the Visual filter panel in our resources. I'm sorry but I know of no current plans to implement this feature. We have a UserVoice page setup for customers to request features to the software. Here is a link to it http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4

The next version of the app will allow you to share multiple verses.

Not at this time. The "Bible text only" is a misnomer. Logos really means "without paragraph formatting."
