Is is possible to add my new books to my older Libronix library? I would love to use some of the extra commentaries with my older Logos in the meantime. Just a side note: I bought the download version of Logos 4.
Some of the new books have only been compiled in the new Logos4 format. To see what's available for Logos 3, first sync your licenses in LDLS. Then run http://www.logos.com/media/update/ResourceAutoUpdate.lbxupd it will search the ftp site and see if there are any books you have licenses to that can be downloaded.
Oops, I didn't look at the forum, I gave instructions for PC, let me look for Mac instructions and see if I can find anything.
Ok, it doesn't look like there is an easy way to download a bunch of Mac book files at once like on the PC version. For Mac version 1 you will have to locate the book files manually and download the ones you want to use. If you visit the product pages on logos.com there will frequently be links to download book files from ftp.logos.com. Alternately you can directly browse the ftp site if you know the file names for the books you want. Download the books (.lbxlls) and then place them in Users/<UserName>/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources.
Remember to sync your licenses.
Thanks! I will definitely look into that!
I bought the L4 Scholars Library. It is not found in Libronix My Library.
Do I have to download the whole lot again?
What's the process?

This blog post answers that question http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/12/using_your_new_logos_4_resources_in_logos_3_or_logos_for_mac_1.html keep in mind the answer is slightly different depending if you are a pc or a mac.
Quick tip for Logos 3 library migration from Windows to Mac - copy files from C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources to /Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources
Next time Libronix DLS launched on Mac, resources automatically added to Library.
Personally installed Logos 3 in a new Windows XP virtual machine on my iMac - downloaded resource files for Windows using Libronix scripts, including resource auto-update script - closed Logos 3 - modified virtual machine settings to share Mac folder for file copying.
Note: on Mac OS X case sensitive file systems, good idea to check Resources for lower and UPPER case spellings of same file - often UPPER case file is older (move to trash).
