What are your preferred fonts for personal books? I tend to use Verdana but would like to hear from you. What fonts do you prefer reading?
Have been using Times New Roman for body text, SBL Greek for Greek, and Calibri (Headings) for headings.
Wingdings, definitely. [:D]
Obviously not. I think it's whateveer you happen to like. Jack likes SBL Greek while I use KadmosU, but we both agree on TNR. Someone else might prefer a sans serif font. Try it and see what you like. You can always change it.
I've been favoring Fontin for English text in Logos lately. It's just a touch more complex (less geometrical) than most sans-serifs and each character is more distinct. I feel like I comprehend things a little better and am less likely to skim.
Here's an interesting study from Princeton, maybe this has something to do with it: Fortune favors the bold (and the italicized): Effects of disfluency on educational outcomes. Apparently making things more difficult to read (for example, making text italic) increases retention.
