If the bibleverse is indented (in the bible resource) then the spaces (between line breaks) is missing when displayed in Passage Guide.

Same thing happen when copying and pasting an indented verse with CBV.
Seems to be your resource as I had no trouble with the ESV (my preferred) in PG, but it had no commas on the end of lines. I chose a text with commas and it came out OK in the Fully Formatted style of CBV.
