I am new to Logos and to the use of a smart phone. I have tried to read some of the answers in your forum, but I don't always understand the lingo.

I can navigate Logos on my desktop, but I am having difficulty using it on my phone.

I have a T-mobile Samsung Gravity Smart phone. When I listened to the android tutorial on choosing a preferred bible, it says to click on the menu button (which I have found) then choose 'more' and finally choose 'settings'. I can't get to first base - when I press the menu button  the phone changes to a new page that has a open book icon, a search icon, an icon that takes me to the opening page that I see on the computer when I open Logos, and a setting icon - There is no option for 'more'. If I click on the settings icon my choices are settings, presentation, help, about, and store. I still don't have a choice for 'more'  . I hope that you can understand what I am trying to say and have  solution for me.

My next question concerns the Catholic lectionary. How do I change the date to today's date? It seems to think that today is Nov 25, 2011.

Thanks for helping a beginner.

Hi Mary - and welcome to the forums.

I haven't seen the video but this is describing the way version 1 worked. V2 (which has just been released) made significant changes to the user interface. Hence the confusion.

To set the preferred Bible, you press the menu button, then the settings icon. You then press "Settings" which will open a panel called "App Settings".

The third option down is "Preferred Bible". Press on that and you can choose the translation you want.

Sorry I don't have that resource so can't comment. Hopefully someone else will be able to pick that up.
