Win BUG? 4.6B5. Text Comparison F7 popup does not pick top 5 Bibles after reprioritisation

My top 5 Bibles had been NIV, NIV84, ESV, NRSV and NASB95. These were translations that appeared in the Text Comparison (TC) popup (F7).

I then changed the list to NIV84, ESV, NRSV, NASB95, LEB - but the TC popup continued to use the previous list of top 5 Bibles. I quit and restarted L4 but no change - the TC popup is still defaulting to the old list.

Is there something else I have to do here? I can change the list in the main TC window directly, but these settings don't seem to be saved, but always revert to the previous top 5 list.

What Bible were you in when you used the Immediate Compare shortcut? The popup shows the current Bible in the first space so if you only changed your fifth prioritized Bible, the popup might not change depending on which Bible you're currently in.

I added five new Bibles to the top of my priority list and was not able to reproduce the issue. If that doesn't seem to explain your issue, please let me know, along with a few more specifics of what you are doing (what Bible you're in, what location in the Bible you are, etc.)

I think the issue is not to do with prioritized Bibles but of the TC tool remembering the last set that was used.

If I do the comparison using the full tool - from the Tool menu - then the set of Bibles which is used defaults to the last set used in this tool.

If I do the comparison from the F7 popup - then the set of Bibles matches the ones in my prioritised list.

Is this difference in behaviour intended or should the F7 popup "inherit" the set used from within the main tool?

Yes - I hadn't realised that the current Bible occupies slot 1. This does make sense now - Bible #5 in priority list was being bumped off the end.
