Morph
Is there a way when the mouse is held over a word to keep the info there instead of having it disappear after a few seconds?

Right click works - but I'm not following you on the click or double click. Let's say I've done a simple search, then click on the verse(s) brought up - now I have to panes opened. On the right side I have the translation with the Interlinear underneath. I can click or double click on the morph but nothing happens. Maybe you can clarify for me please. Thanks!

Try opening the Information window from the Tools menu. And setting it to On Click. Then when you click on a word (single click) it will show up in the Info window and it will have the Morph info (if you haven't turned it Off in Settings) will be there. You might have to scroll the Info window depending on how much you have turned On for the Info window.

The problem is that you are using an interlinear. Get rid of it and use the original text alone.

Actually, if I could read the original text, I might (and then I might not) put away the Interlinear. But since I cannot read Greek and Hebrew (or French etc) I probably will stay to the helps given here in Logos or Online Bible. Thanks for the suggestion though.

So do the only logical thing and get a good commentary which explains the original. I don't think you would try to do brain surgery while consulting a Brain Surgery for Dummies book.

I applaud your desire to seek discoveries that are found in the original languages!
To use an analogy from the culinary world, I don't need to grow my own wheat and mill my own flour in order to bake my own bread. If I can use flour milled by another person in my personal bread recipe I can enjoy the outcome of my own work. In the same way, if I know the difference between meaning of a Qal verb form and a Hifil verb, I can trust somebody else to tag the form (mill the wheat) as I discover meaning (combine the ingredients) which is different than buying bread at the bakery (reading a good commentary).

I'm amazed that Logos & others haven't taken your advice George and dropped the Interlinears since you can *see* so much further than they. :-}
As for the *good commentaries* ... something's telling me off to my right and then again off to my left and then again believe it or no, in front of me then plus the Logos / Online Bible - that I've plenty of material for, as you put it, good commentaries etc etc.
As stated earlier my good man, thanks for the suggestion - but remember, I'm only taking it as such.

So am I. While I would not be critical of Logos for much that receives criticism on this forum, I would most strenuously criticize their decision to push interlinears.

Apparently though, some are not agreeing with your *view* regarding the Interlinear. I suppose maybe there are arguments pro and con but unfortunately, I could not and would not take time to debate over such.
And hopefully I cleared up for you the *good commentary* issue. Logic in this case has prevailed (I think).
