PILLAR COMMENTARIES ON JOHN  Carson or Kruse ?

Which one would you choose?

Why would I want both?

    Well, considering that Carson wrote on the Gospel of John and Kruse wrote of the Letters of John, why is there even a comparison? Get both because they are on different books of the Bible.

    I got confused with the Tyndale commentary on John by Kruse

    right book, right man, wrong series[:#]

    Now if you had said: "Morris vs Kruse" on Romans on Pillars, then it would've been a different thing [;)] I chose to keep Morris on Romans.  Maybe I'll get Kruse, but not sure yet.
