I wish ... simpler, faster resizing of any active window

While I like the F11 key ... it does consume time and on both ends of the change. Enlarging and returning to size BOTH take time. Sometimes I don't NEED the window to be the full size of my screen, but would like to see a midway point - just large enough to let me see what I need to see and then quickly - easily restore the window to its earlier size.

Sometimes I want the same thing. I just right click the tab, float it, and then drag the tab pack to the previous pane. Works for me, anyway.
