When I create a note, it always defaults to being in italics. I don't want my notes in italics. I am sure there is an easy way to change this, but I don't know how. It's just a minor annoyance. Can anyone help?
thanks
You'll get faster answers to such questions if you put them under the forum for the application & operating system.. Assuming Logos 4 desktop on Windows, simply click on the italics icon to go back to normal fonts.

This may not be as easy as you think. It depends if you are editing an existing note within a Note file or if you are adding a new note to a Note file. L4 has some irregular habits which i questioned when writing the wiki (i got no response from Logos, so you need to be aware of some of these peculiar irregularities).
Start by reading this section of the notes wiki: Global settings for your Note File(s)
It also helps to only have one Note file at a time open. When more than one Note file is open the predictability of changes varies (especially depending on which Note file was opened or which one was last active. There is also peculiarities when closing L4 with multiple Note files open.
After reading the first section, then also see these:
General settings for your Note File Setting Note Files default Font in Program Settings Font Priorities
Thanks Steve. That answered my question. I knew how to take the italics off by pushing the button, but couldn't figure out how to change the global settings.
