BUG: Right click and copy pictures in Biblical Things does not copy

Description

>>If I right click and attempt to copy an image in Biblical things (or any other place for that matter) the image does not appear in the clipboard.

Steps to reproduce

Load Logos4
Open biblical places
Find an image, such as the altar of incense
right click
choose copy
bummer. Nothing happened.

Actual Result

Nothing in the clipboard

Expected Result

I expect the image, and perhaps a citation to appearin the clipboard for pasting to other programs.

System Specs

Save as does work. I haven't tried printing, but send to powerpoint does nothing because I haven't got PPT installed. I use OpenOffice.org impress instead ... Too bad I can't send to impress...(hint)

Works for me. That is, I can copy and put the image in the clipboard. I viewed the image using IrfanView (open IrfanView press CTRL-V).

I use Windows 7 and have Office 2007 and PPT. I found that if I double click the image it opens in another window. When I right click that image I can copy and paste into Word (2007) or send to PPT. It does not paste a citation though. That feature works OK fo rme.

OK, this is weird.

I can not paste into Openoffice, either the word processor or Impress (ppt) but I can paste into Microsoft Paint..... So it is going into the clipboard in some format or another.

HOWEVER...

I can take a picture out of other programs and paste them into Openoffice just fine.

Can someone with Openoffice.org verify? I'm using OOo 3.1.1

I could not paste directly into WordPerfect either. I think it's the file format that's the issue.

Ok, Richard that sounds like a bug for both of us then. Or at least an incompatability.

What I did to get it to work was paste into IrfanView (a freeware image viewer, with some editing features), and saved the image as a jpg. Then I inserted the jpg into my document. Took a few steps, but at least it was possible.

(I'm not sure what the format of the images actually are.)

Yeah I'll do the same thing for now. But surely there's something going on behind the scenes that might be corrected in the long run. I'm hoping that Logos will put this on the todo list. I can live with a workaround with PAINT or GIMP if I need to, but it's odd that it doesn't work.
