View settings for Logos 4 Mac

Is there a way to change the screen (brightness) setting on a Mac running OS 10.8 like on the iPad in the View Settings - from normal to sepia to low light?

Download Flux. It's a free small program that automatically adjusts your screen for daylight, based on the time and your location, customizable to preference.

Am I missing something here? On my macbook there is a checkbox that tells the computer to adjust brightness automatically. The brightness slider still works to set a base level and the screen and keyboard brightness adjust from that level in response to changes in ambient light.

I have the same thing on my iMac (it may be that he is using an external monitor):
The keyboard shortcuts for adjusting the brightness are on the f1 and f2 keys (you may have to hold down the fn key as you press them)

Yes I am using an external monitor with a MBP.
And I really like the sepia setting for reading.
Maybe it could be in a future version.

Sorry, thought you were looking for something else. Flux changes the color temperature of your screen (not just the brightness level) to adapt to daytime/sunlight vs. nighttime/artificial light, to be less harsh on the eyes.

Already is (kind of). Under "preferences" find "accessibility." switch to "paper."[:)]
