Add the NIV'84 as soon as possible please!

Hi,
I'm putting in my formal request to get the rights to publish the NIV '84 translation asap. It is still my Bible of choice, and unfortunately even my Zondervan disk is now too old to run on any newer computer OS's.
If you can add the original NIV study Bible and/or Concordia's "Concordia Study Bible" as additional NIV '84 resources, that would be gravy too.

Hi Jeff - and welcome to the forums.
Unfortunately this is a licencing decision which prohibits Logos from selling the NIV84.
Please see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/43363.aspx for one of the discussions of this for some more context.

unfortunately, it seems the holders of these rights won't allow Logos to publish the NIV '84 anymore - despite Logos trying to explain these guys that this is losing them money (so my reading of the explanations we got from Logos).
It seems that there is an Adventist commentary set holding out as the last resource sold through Logos that contains NIV 84 - so if you are desparate...

Study Bible in Logos are technically just "Bible Notes", sold without the bible text and linked to it. So study bibles won't give you the bible text and this is not the way to dig through to NIV 84 (see above or check if there are some third party CD-ROMs with NIV for Libronix available. I got my '84 NIV through SESB).
Concerning the NIV SB or the Concordia Self-Study Bible: the latter one is in Logos, bundled to a very affordable collection. We users are currently using the Community Note features of L4 / Faithlife to "retrofit" this into a NIV SB. You may join us, if you want.
