Synchronization problem

The synchronization feature on my Logos ver. 4.5c SR-4 (4.53.0.2299) which is installed on my desktop win 7 machine has stopped working...
Any ideas?

Do you see a yellow triangle in the Menu Bar at the top right? Does clicking that restore Sync?
Otherwise, provide logs as per http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging (Note: upload logs as described).

Thanks - the yellow triangle is there and clicking it doesn't solve the problem. Sending logs to Logos tech support sometime next week.
Apparently it happens from time to time with other folks.

I'm having a similar synchronization problem. I'll post my issue here, but my situation is a bit complicated...
- I just upgraded from my old WinXP computer to a new Win7 64-bit one. I used Windows Easy Transfer to move over as much as it allowed.
- Amazingly--and apparently because Logos4 installs under Users/***/AppData /Local--Logos 4 appeared on my new system without me installing it. (And Logos did not appear in my Control Panel list of programs.) It seemed to work fine... but when the latest upgrade was released, it would not install due to permissions issues. So, following info I found on this forum, I deleted my Data, Documents, and Users folders. Restarting then required the login and apparently that 'installed' Logos.
- I am now, however, getting the synchronization error with the yellow triangle. Repeated efforts throughout the day have not yielded any success.

This occurs with sync of your Highlighting styles. The problem may be related the transfer from XP:-
- do both Logos Prerequisites and Logos Bible Software 4 now appear in Control Panel >> Programs and Features?
- if so, right click Logos Bible Software 4 and select Repair.
If that doesn't work you need to contact Logos Support.

This happened to me and it was actually something server side with Logos. Contacted support, they remoted into my PC and fixed the problem within minutes. No problems since! [:)]

Update: I ended up having to contact Logos support. The tech guy remoted in and tried a bunch of stuff but nothing worked. Said he would have to do more checking and get back to me. An email later indicated it was a server issue on their side. Took another day, but the problem is now resolved.

Glad to hear they got it working for you!

I am also having the same problem. I suspect it is a Logos server problem.
