do i have to manually uninstall Libronix Library system

I upgraded to Logos 4 from the Libronix Digital Library System 3.  Do I now uninstall the old system manually?  Usually when you upgrade software it automatically uninstalls the old software.  I don't want to uninstall it if I'm going to loose my resources or something.

You don't have to uninstall L3 and you may want to keep it in place until you are satisfied that L4 meets your needs. They use their own set of resources and co-exist without any problems. If you have PBB files you need to keep L3 until L4 can handle them.
