When L4 searches for L3 books and puts them into the library....

When L4 searches for L3 books and puts them into the library...does this mean that when installing L4 on a second computer that does not have L3, all L3 books will already be in the L4 library and automatically downloaded?

I dont know if I phrased the question clear enough so I am gong to say it a different way....

1. I have L3 on my computer. I install L4, go through the indexing and upgrading etc so that I now have all L3 resources (minus PBB) in my L4 library

2. I now decide to install L4 on a second computer in the home where L3 does not reside. Since L4 is part cloud based, does this mean that when I download my resources, all L3 resources that were already discovered and put into my L4 library...will they also be downloaded even if L3 is not on the second computer? Or does L3 have to be installed on all computers where L4 is as well in order to get all resources?

Mark, Yes.

You can delete L3 if you want. All you licenses are on the Logos servers. I would not delete L3 until you PBBs are transfered - or at least save them on a backup - Yes, sync everything, first is best.

After capturing the L3 resources it will download L4 and L3 updates (if no L4 exists) - this could be several GB, especially if you upgraded. Then it will begin indexing.

L3 does not have to be installed, so the download may be larger. As above you get L3 format if not yet converted to L4.

What I understand from you both is that AFTER I sync my L4 library with L3, I should be able to install L4 on another computer that does not contain L3 and all my L3 resources (minus PBB) will show up on the new computer. That helps. Also, thanks Chris for the reminder to wait until PBB can be converted. That brings three more questions:

1. When about is it expected that PBB will be able to be transferred?

2. If I save a copy of all PBB on a harddrive (but I dont save L3), will they somehow be recognized when the ability to transfer them comes?

3. If I have all L3 resources saved on a harddrive but I did not have L3 installed, would L4 recognize the L3 resources?
