Word Study Crash
Hey All, I have enjoyed using Logos for some time now, but ever since I downloaded the latest version, when I go into Logos there is a 50-50 chance that when I do a Word Study it will crash. I never had the issue before the update, so I am guessing it is a new bug. I have not had any other issues with the new version and love the updated iPad version, but does anybody have any ideas how to solve this issue or am I the only one with it? I attached my log files for your viewing pleasure : ). 2402.Archive.zip
I am using Logos on a MacBook Pro, 2.7 Ghz i7 with 4Gb of ram on OS X 10.8.1

Tim - Sorry you are having troubles. I am not a techie, but sometimes I can read logs & help out. I think I found the issue, but I dont know what to do about it. I found the following in your logs. Perhaps a techie will be along and can give more help. [:S]

Tim, the timestamp for your crash log (which isn't very useful on its own) is 9:00, while the logos4.log is 9:01. It looks like the program was restarted before the logs were collected and the relevant information was lost. It sounds like this crash is generally reproducible for you, so if you experience the crash again it would be very helpful to get those logs (collected before restarting) as well as the specific steps you took before crashing (i.e. what was the term you were using, etc.) Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, it is extremely reproducible since it crashes when doing any word study the first or second time it crashes. By the third time, the word study works. I just had the error a few minutes ago and attached the files and noticed that the error log does contain information from it. Looks like some type of an exception was thrown. I will let you all take it from here : ). As for the steps I took: 1)Open Logos; 2) Click on Bible Word Study; 3) Type in malice (because that is how I am feeling about this, just kidding. I am in TItus 3); 4) hit return to begin search; 5) Visit Logos forums because it crashed again : ).

Noticed sync has an error with same key value (duplicate), suggest contacting Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
