I have recently been given a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I already own the Scholars Gold package and many other books and packages that I have purchased along the way. I have a few questions concerning it. I am tring to set it up on the new portable format and am having trouble choosing my favourites, ie top 5 bibles, favourite commentaries etc. Does anyone know how to do this? Does ity sync across from my Desktop PC or is there a place in the menu where it has to be set up? Also is it possible to do word studies on the android app? Is it possible to turn off some of the lines of info on the Lexham Interlinear Bible like you can on the PC version? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Steve

it. I am tring to set it up on the new portable format and am having trouble choosing my favourites, ie top 5 bibles, favourite commentaries etc. Does anyone know how to do this? Does ity sync across from my Desktop PC or is there a place in the menu where it has to be set up?

at the moment - to the best of my knowledge - resource prioritisation (which I think you are looking for) does not sync from the desktop to the Android app. This is something which we are waiting for.

it is possible to set the preferred Bible in the app - click on the Settings icon, select Settings and set your preferred Bible. (Having said that, at the moment, all the settings options in the settings menu don't respond on my phone!)

Also is it possible to do word studies on the android app?

Yes - "press and hold" a word, select the Info option on the popup menu and select the Bible Word Study option in the resulting menu.

Is it possible to turn off some of the lines of info on the Lexham Interlinear Bible like you can on the PC version?

Sorry - this is not possible.

    Hope this helps

    Graham

PS: All above based on the phone interface but I believe the tablet is similar in these areas.

If you prioritize your 5 Bibles in the desktop version of Logos, the Android app will display these in the Bible Comparison feature. It might take it a minute to synchronize. I was annoyed because the Bible Comparison in Android was displaying the Greek New Testament. So I made sure there were 5 English Bibles before the NA27 Greek New Testament and now my Android app compares these 5 English Bibles. That is good enough for me. I don't really need the option to change this in the Android app.
