After installing the latest update Logos 4 starts up with the sign in screen. When I click on sign in it crashes. I installed the update twice with the same results - cant get past the start up screen.

Here are my log files

0211.Logos4.log0508.Logos4Crash.txt5415.Logos4IndexerCrash.txt

Thanks

David

Please delete the following file: C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\Logos4\System\appSettings.config

Then go to Programs and Features in Control Panel, right click Logos Bible Software 4 and choose Repair.

    David,

Could you please upload a copy of the DigitalLibraryInstall.log file created when installing the 4.6 update? it could help diagnosing this problem. This file can be found in your "Documents\Logos Log Files" if you have logging enabled, otherwise in your Temp folder's "Logos Log Files" folder, which you can find by opening Windows Explorer and typing %temp% into the Address field.

Also, it's a long shot, but did you happen to edit that file? Windows Installer won't replace the file if it thinks you've "added value" to it by editing it (and changing its time stamp).

    Thanks,

    Bryan
