Page numbering and formatting problem in "An Introduction to the New Testament Contexts, Methods and

Reading "An Introduction to the New Testament..." on my iPad I came across a strange page numbering issue as below:

As you can see it shows the page numbers as 246-245.

Also at the bottom right of the screen there is a solid black line which covers the bottom line of text. This is something I have seen frequently where there are "excurcus" type insertions in a text and for the duration of the insertion there is a black line at the bottom of the screen.
