Installation Problem

Kind of new to Blog but I am having a problem with reinstall. Logos 4 quit working on my laptop, so I uninstalled and when I try to reinstall I get a error that Logos 4 prerequisites failed to install. I have tried to install with Virus/Firewall turned offand I also tried by clearing the registry, running the program as administrator, but nothing so far has worked. Any help would be appreciated since I really miss Studying with my laptop during Lunch at work. Thanks all....

Welcome Gerald
We need to see some logs -->http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Please read carefully and upload the logs (preferably compressed or zipped).
Are you installing into an account with Admin rights? Note that Prerequisites will request Admin credentials but you must not run the setup/installer "as Administrator".

Reply to this thread, and click the paperclip icon when you're writing the reply. That will let you attach a file to the message.

These are all from June 2012. Please enable logging and try again, uploading logs after the crash.

Thought I would share but after I enabled logging by this method--
To permanently enable logging, run (Open) this Java script by clicking on it: EnableLogging.js.
It should display a dialog box saying “Logos 4 logging has been enabled”.The install proceeded without any problems and now I have Logos back ...
Thanks,
Gerald

You may have the same problem but see my first post about needing logs and upload them in your next post (read the wiki carefully so you will upload the logs).
