Export Notes to Word 2007

Greetings! I am running Logos 4.6 (SR-1) on Windows 7 Professional.

I am experiencing a problem exporting my Notes to Word 2007.

The table value is skewed. I've attached a capture of it to this message.

I do not work with tables in Word, so when I try to change the size of the column I end up making the problem worse.

In a future version of Logos, could we maybe export to Word minus the tables? That would make things easier on those of us who leave tables and such to the Excel people.

Welcome to the forum.

I had a similar problem. The solution was to change my Word setup, which was originally using "compatibility mode" due to the fact that I had reinstalled it. if you fiddle with that kind of setting, you might figure out a solution that will give you the best of both worlds.

I am experiencing a problem exporting my Notes to Word 2007.

I'm using Word 2010 and the export worked fine--no large column on the left. The only issue was an extra hard return between each paragraph, which is easy enough to take care of with search and replace.

I did notice that if I copied to clipboard instead of exported to a Word document, the format was a little different--in fact, better--most of the extra hard returns were gone. Have you tried this to see what it does with yours?

If this doesn't work, try turning on table guidelines in Word's options. This allows you to see more easily what column you are trying to adjust.. Again with Word 2010, I had no problem adjusting the size of the columns by clicking and dragging. It's been awhile since I worked w/ Word 2007, but I don't think this has changed.
