Just curious if anyone would share their workspaces that you have set up on Logos for Mac. I know without tabs the functionality is much more limited, but I am curious how people are getting on.

Many thanks for sharing this. I must confess that sizing and resizing windows to create workspaces is not that pretty and hope that they address this in a future version of the software!
I use "TextEdit" (located in your Applications folder) as my text editor... mostly because it doesn't get in my way AT ALL. It's fast, light and has everything I really need. I open it after I load the workspace.
As far as the passage guide goes... in the workspace is all of the resources I use most often... so actually I have like 10 windows behind what you see in the top right. And the same with the bottom right... there's like 10 resources open there... sized the right way. They all open when I open the workspace. Then I just use the passage guide as a "launcher" to bring that resource forward or use the Command ~ to switch resources.
Gets me by until there's a better way.
I hope Logos takes on the "non-modal" approach to windowing... it would be soo flexible and yet organized.
Nice looking set up. Must be a fairly large screen. I use Spaces on my laptop but that gets to be a little confusing at times.
I use Pages as my document editor. I have 6 different workspaces for my various study steps, which I open as needed. I also use SizeUp to organize my windows to the size and location desired.
Yeah it's a 17in Mac Book Pro connected to a 24in Apple LED display. Love them.
The only time I use a specific workspace is when first working with Greek. When preparing a sermon my first step is translation and word study. The below screenshot is my Greek workspace right at the start of sermon prep. Pages on the left, then the GNT and ESV on the top right. Info window and BDAG on the bottom right. I also use Spaces so once I get into the Passage Guide or any time I use the Exegetical Guide I throw things into different Spaces rather than using a specific arranged workspace.
The below screenshot also helps illustrate why I wish the info window was always present. Since it hides when you switch to another application it is gone when I tab to Pages.

Hey Andy,
Double Click your Macintosh HD and navigate to Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Librionix DLS/Workspaces
Drop the files into there...
Then when your in Logos choose File/ "Load Workspace" it should see them now and let you load them up.
Then just adjust them (depending on your screen size they may need to be adjusted slightly) and then save them again overwriting the old ones.

Is there any way of moving my PC workspaces across to my MAC workspaces? I noticed the file type is different.
No. The different file type indicates that the internal format is different.
It seems that the only user files that can be used on both Mac and Windows are collections. However, PBBs in Windows collections can cause initial problems on the Mac. This is easily rectified. However, that was not part of your question.

In Logos 4 your layouts will automatically sync, even between Windows and Mac installations.

Hi Jack, I have already confirmed in the current Alpha that my Tags, Rating, Prioritized resources have all come over. I have some screenshots up on the Mac Beta forum as well.

From what I understand, the one upgrade will get you both versions. So you can go with windows for now and still have the mac!

Seriously though, if I had the space, I would run L4win, L4mac and L1mac. Sadly, since I must make choices, L4win is the loser.
