Preparing Your Library 8 hrs at stage 2

"Preparing your Library" has been running since 5.30 am on stage 2 - and still on stage 2 @ 2.12 pm.

This is a reinstall, which L3 was removed from the laptop, I did follow Dave Hooten's instructions for installing on 2nd comp.

But this seems like an extremely long time.

I agree that's a long time, unless you have a bunch of resources that need to be discovered and a slow hard drive or computer. I recently went through a reinstall and stages 1 and 2 for 3,000 resources took less than 30 minutes.
