Copying

Two issues in the iPad really bother me and I am hoping I am just missing something.

1) you can only copy one page at a time. There is often times I want to copy a selection that extends beyond the pagr or there is several pages I need to copy.

2) you cannot copy the ISBN numbers on the iPad or the Mac for that matter.

I don't think the ISBN is in the metadata, that's because it's a specific digital edition.

As to copying its a limitation of the iPad screen. One workaround is to reduce the font size in the settings to its smallest size, copy what you need, the slide the fonts size slider back to where you want it.

Smaller text is what I am doing now but that is such a pain and it seems there should be a better and easier solution.

Regarding implementation, having scrolling windows would be ideal, but probably extremely difficult.

A quicker solution, and likely easier for the developer and as easy for users, is to have an option to "Place Start Tag" on the long press menu. then when you move to the end position (which could be before or after the start tag), long pressing shows a different menu with only two options: "Place End Tag", and "Cancel Selection". Pressing cancel dismisses the menu. Pressing "Place End Tag", brings back the normal long press menu with options for copying, sharing, notes, etc.
