Download v/s CD-ROM delivery method (Pre-Publication orders)

I have a number of pre-publication orders placed earlier this year before upgrading to version 4. I ordered them all using the CD-ROM delivery method.

In browsing through various products, I noticed that many have the following NOTE: "If you're using Logos Bible Software 4, you must choose the DOWNLOAD option. The 3.0 CD-ROM or DVD-ROM requires version 3 of the Libronix Digital Library System."   Some products are listed under 3.0 CD-ROM only, such as the IVP reference collection.

Does this mean I should change my pre-publication orders to the download version? Or can I load the CD-ROM versions and have these books available for version 4?

Don't change your pre-pub order, unless you are sure the pre-pub price being offered now is the same as the price you were offered before (often these go up after the resource goes to development).

If you're in a situation where a pre-pub is already in development and to re-order would cost more, I would suggest emailing Logos support (support@logos.com), or Logos sales (sales@logos.com), and see if you can't get your order changed. It is less expensive for them to let you download it, so there's an incentive to do that.

As for those products that will still be shipped via CD, there probably isn't any option at this point other than unlocking them via Libronix (L3) and synchronizing your licenses via the Libronix Account Manager. You could decide not to relocate the files to your hard drive, when prompted and let Logos 4 downolad them for you (assumes those new files will get to the Logos server). Or you could download them and have Logos4 scan that drive for the new arrivals (might save you some download time).
