Bug: Duplicate Resource in Split Pane

Since purchasing my Nexus 7, I've been using it for church more & more. One of the ways in which I use it is to have two copies of my default bible (ESV) open, one for the main passage & the other for all cross references.

The issue that I'm having is that I sometimes have difficulty opening the second copy of the ESV. Here is my usual scenario to illustrate:

During the week, I typically have the ESV & the ESV Study Bible open together in split view. This works just fine; but when I try to switch the ESV Study Bible to the ESV Bible (for church), it does not allow me to do so. The window appears to select the book, but it never changes it. In order to get it to change to the ESV, I have to first switch the ESV Study Bible to another Bible translation (i.e. NASB) and then from the NASB I can switch to the ESV.

By comparison, this functionality works as expected on the iOS app.
