Friends, Is it good to make notes files for each Book of the Bible or making just 2 note files for OT and NT ? What is general practice? Please suggest. Thanks

I have a notefile for each book, but I also have notefiles on specific subjects and many are for specific passages. I have tottered back and forth as to which method is best for me. The one thing to consider is the size of the notefile. It seems when a notefile gets large it tends to impact performance.
My advice would be to experiment for a while and determine what works best for you and your workflow

I will corroborate this observation. I once had just a single notefile called General, because I don't need to identify my notes by topic or name...all my notes are context sensitive to the verses to which they are attached. But eventually my response time in pulling up notes turned to sludge--excruciatingly slow.
In addition to not liking too many notes in a single file, I have also noticed that Logos doesn't like particularly long notes. Some of my notes are 10-20 pages or more. That also creates sludge.
