The book reader

I wonder if the iphone could ever read books to you or if this feature would ever become available, so for class you could listen to the book on the go since I drive 45 minutes to church or work out for about an hour a day maybe to try and utilize this time on the go. I'm guessing its an expensive and weighty feature for the iphone, and may never work properly and the lady who speaks the books is a bit annoying anyway. Maybe logos could just help me find a wife who enjoys reading out loud to me,   /Wink,

Just kidding about the last part.

Anthony

I think that's everything for now.

Hey Anthony - I don't know if Logos would consider adding that feature or not. There are two issues involved: technical and licensing. The latter is the more problematic… publishers would rather sell you audiobooks than allow the computer to read to you.

  • Anthony,

There is software from AT&T that will read anything.  I have used it in the past but have recently moved so I don't know where anything is, like, my software.  However, if you google your request, you will find software that will read the book to you.  It's also not too expensive.  The better the voice or reader, the more expensive the software.

    God bless,
