Bible Word Study

From Col 4.10, I wanted to do a Bible WS on Gk: anepsios.
Why is it that I'm presented with a long list of Biblical names?
Also, when I do a Lemma - Search this resource, I get a similar thing.
How can I do a study on how anepsios, and its Hebrew/Aramaic equivalent is used in Scripture, please?

I don't know why you get the list of names - when I try it I get what I think you are expecting as below:
Can you provide a few more details as to how you are doing it - ideally with screenshots?

Don't understand - can you post a screenshot of your results when you try this?

Thanks, Graham; kind of you to respond in such detail.
For some reason, I couldn't paste the screen shots directly from my clipboard, so both the Lemma and Word search screenshots are in the attached document..8666.Logos - COUSIN.pdf

Hi Bruce
You are searching against the definite article as opposed to the word for cousin.
When you right-click on the word for cousin in NASB95 you will see two words on the right-hand side with the first being the article.
Scroll past that and you will get the word for cousin.
If you select that ans then carry out the BWS or search you will get the results you are looking for

Excellent! Thanks, Graham.
It seems this is the only occasion where anepsios appears in the NT. I was hoping to determine a little more accurately John Mark's relationship to Barnabas. There is a school of thought that Mark was Barnabas' nephew, and considering the age difference, I'm inclined to agree.

Hi Bruce
Glad it worked.
On the cousin/nephew question I have just checked a few commentaries and the ones I looked at seem unanimous in there opinion that nephew is incorrect.
I dont know what commentaries you have access to but would be worth checking.
