Opening Bible to Another Passage Without Messing Up All Linked Resources

If, while studying, I have a passage come to my mind that I wish to look at, how will I do so?

I do not wish to cause all of my linked materials to go to another passage; that would consume time.

Am I able to open another window and do so?

I'm sure I'm missing something simple here.

Two ways:

Right-click on the tab of an open resource you want a second copy of and select "Open a copy in a new tab"
Library, find, right-click, select "Open a copy in a new tab"

Rich explained how to do this. I keep an extra copy of my favorite Bible open and unlinked all the time for just the purpose you stated. It is handy to be able to do this, and something you could not do with a single print version.
