Not backing up and losing days of work!

2110.Logging.zipI've lost a days work on my sermon twice now. Once yesterday and again today.
Yesterday after a crash (due to deleting in a Notes document: still not fixed guys) when I reopened Logos hours of work was gone. I tried to reload old layouts but there weren't any from that day at all.
So, i started again today and made sure logos was keeping layouts all along. I even opened up a second notes file in which i would periodically copy and past my complete note file as a backup. I had layouts saved every 20 minutes or so in the list. then, I intentionally shut down Logos and reopened immediately to see if it saved my not file. it did not. the last 10 minutes or so of work was missing. I had checked and saved a layout just before closing, too.
when i reopened it reset my notes file to one that was hours old. when i tried to reload various layouts that were "newer" they were all the same.
What gives? How often should it be backing me up? How do i know this is working? are there backup files somewhere I am unaware of?

Unless you have turned off the working online, you are backed up automatically in the cloud. If you had been syncing with the cloud give customer service a call immediately because something is seriously wrong.
There is no user backup supported although many of us back up everything in certain directories so that we can do the quick install methods as described in the wiki.
P.S. I'm not a MAC person.
