I purchased 4 eBible resources and when I went to install them, two of them (Jon Courson Bible Study LIbrary and John MacArthur Essential Bible Study LIbrary)  allowed me to input  the Serial Numbers and they updated fine in Logos 3.0g. The other two, "The Preacher's Commentary" and "The David Jeremiah Essential Bible Study LIbrary" will not let me unlock them with the Serial Numbers. In fact, the Praecher's Commentary only shows the New Testament which are locked. It does not show the Old Testament. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do next? I got a "good deal" on the CD's, guess I know why...

I read as many of the thread as i can to see if there were similar problems, some close but am still unable to unlock them.

Thanks!

Your "good deal" may suggest that you've got a pirated copy of something, or that the previous owner didn't properly relinquish ownership of the resources before turning them over to you.

At any rate, your only solution is to get a hold of Logos. Details on how to contact them are on their web site.

Thanks! I purchased them from Lifeway Christian Bookstores in new, unopened packages. They were a discounted special they happened to be running. But you are probably right, i will likely have to contact them next week to see if they can resolve it. thanks for the reply.

Michael ... Richard's likely right on contacting Logos. But if you wanted to experiment, then go to Tools >> Options >> General >> Resource Paths and click on the 'Refresh Resources'. This clears the library buffer. Then quit Libronix and also make sure the Libronix library process is also dead (you may have to look at your Windows Task Monitor for that). The two are separate processes.

Then restart Libronix. It re-reads the library relative to your licenses. If the other disks already 'cludged up' some of the resources on your problem CDs, this would clear up that. Then try re-installing.

This is a long-shot; sometimes Libronix just won't respond to a CD (I've had that happen). With the serial, Logos can authorize the resources and then you synchronize, possibly needing to download the sets from the ftp site if they absolutely won't come off the disks. But Lifeway should be good.

Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Installing_Libronix_Books that includes:

"If Libronix does not prompt for a key look on the CD for AutoUpdate.lbxupd and try running it and relaunching Libronix."
